Yup, we’re not just doing Black Friday. Or Cyber Monday. We’re doing it all! From Friday, November 25 through Monday, November 28, Jon Brewer Photography is cutting through prices more than your dad is cutting through the Thanksgiving turkey.
“Okay, so what’s on sale?”
Answer: All the big stuff! Everything from professional prints 16″x20″ and above, canvas wraps, new acrylic and bamboo prints, press printed cards (perfect for Christmas and the holidays!), and even our awesome Coffee Table Albums!
“How much am I looking to save?”
Most items are around 25% off, although some are closer to 40% off!
Here’s an example: A 24×36 acrylic print (note: a BRAND NEW product, and pretty sweet!) normally runs about $500 with taxes. This weekend, they’ll be around $300. That’s $200 in savings, or if your husband or dad is making the purchase, that’s 40 pints good $5/glass beer!
“Is there a limit on how much I can buy?”
Nope! Buy to your heart’s content!
“What about shipping?”
Stealing a line from Amazon.com on this one. Free over $25!
“What if I want to buy something custom, like a Leather Craftsman bound album?”
Those are discounted, too! However, due to the fact that they’re 100% custom, we don’t have a hard discount number to give you. But shoot us an email, and I’ll put together a great deal for you!
If this has you dancing like Carlton Banks, then bookmark your event page, and get ready for the insanity this weekend!
EDIT: Photos are online! Click “Order” up there on the top right of this page, find the link that says “Brett & Lauren Cole” and you’re there!
Brett and Lauren have been an amazing couple to work with since the first day I met them with their welcome packet in hand. I remember in the days that followed Lauren had initially declined our services, but then her heart got the best of her and she emailed me right back hoping I was still available for their wedding date. Obviously I was, and soon enough, we were having a blast doing their engagement session in the alma mater of Miami University in Ohio (spending more time spouting out “that’s what she said jokes” than actually taking pictures). I knew from there on that these two were an amazing pair. Well, the big day arrived, and I was just as excited as they were for what turned out be a gorgeous day in downtown Indianapolis. Please enjoy the photos, and thank you Brett and Lauren for allowing Jon Brewer Photography to be a part of your special day! || Read more
This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the Vandeventer family in their beautiful hometown of Zionsville, Indiana. The weather gods were on my side, bringing breezy but sunny skies to Indianapolis on Sunday morning. I’ve known the Vandeventers for a couple of years and as always they were a pleasure to hang out this weekend. I’m excited for them to have some refreshed photos to hang on their walls and hide in their wallets. Enjoy! || Read more
The funny thing about being a wedding photographer is that it’s rare occasion when I actually have the opportunity to attend a wedding. Even more rare is being a part of the wedding itself. This is one of those blue moon occasions, in which I’ll be a groomsman for one of my best friends, Robert Heeter (I only know him as “Bobby.” This Robert thing is a bit foreign to me) and his fiancee, Ann Mallinger. Obviously, it’s a little difficult to photograph their wedding while being a part of it, so they’ve hired the awesome Morgan of Morgan Matters.
I did, however, have the opportunity to photograph their engagement pics, which are below. Let me tell you, I’m super stoked for their big day next August, and I’ll definitely let you know how it feels to be on the other end of a camera for once.

So over this summer, I have picked up two fun things. The first one is mountain biking. I’ve always had a soft spot for cycling, and I’ve done road biking for a few years now, but I wanted something a little different. So I picked up a bike from Matthew’s Bicycles on Pendleton Pike (great guys by the way…they had a good chuckle when I came in less than a week later after faceplanting to check on the bike).
This is where the second part comes in. Being the photographer that I am, I had to find a way to capture my triumphs (and many, many spills) as I picked up this new sport. This is where the folks at GoPro come in (be warned, this next part’s about to get a little nerdy). They make a camera that does full 1080p @ 30fps or 720p @ 60fps…and it’s about the size of phone charger. Not only that, but it’s drop-proof, shock-proof, and water-proof (to 100m). And it’s only $300. Just think, a good point-and-shoot digital camera is the same price!
Anyways, here’s the first of many poorly-edited (I don’t do videography for a reason, ha!) clips I’ve put together to showcase the trails in Indy. If you have a cool idea for me to make use of this little gadget, let me know!
