As the summer rolls in, the kids come out in full force. Today’s POTD is for the kids. :)
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a POTD. But here’s one I took today from the steps of the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI in downtown Indy. Gorgeous (although windy) day. POTD - April 6, 2010
The first POTD for 2010! This one comes from the Indianapolis Zoo. I was out with some friends and just snapping pictures for fun, nothing serious in mind. Fortunately though, this giraffe, name unknown, strikes a pose for me and I couldn’t help but take advantage. :)
Today’s photo of the day is another oldie. This one is from a trip I took with my family in the summer of 2004. We were driving through Bavaria in Germany and happened to drive a bit to far and accidentally ventured into Salzburg, Austria. The sun was already waning, so we decided to stay in town for the night. I must say, Salzburg is a wonderful, cozy, and romantic city. The view across the river and up onto the castle (I believe it’s just called Salzburg Castle. Please correct me if I am wrong) is breathtaking at night. Oh, I cannot wait to go back.
POTD - Dec 5 - Austria
This is actually from the week that I first started using a DSLR camera. It was after my junior year of high school at a photography camp at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. The Delaware County Fair was taking place that week, and we essentially had free reign on the Muncie area to take photos. This serves as proof that Nikons have been great cameras to me even since the days of the D100. :)
